• Is Star Wars overrated? (Maybe.)
• Attention Cosima Neuhaus: the Supreme Court says you can't patent human genes. (Even more interesting, Clarence Thomas wrote the opinion.)
• As an only child myself, I'm curious about why people are so emotional about only children. Also why they're so wrong about us.
• China is building a canal through Nicaragua to compete with the Panama Canal. Few remember today that the U.S. surveyed Nicaragua first, before deciding on Panama. Should be interesting when it's done.
