For those who are curious, I've updated my media consumption list, and as a result, I need to review my Substack subscriptions. Maybe I should rotate them? I would love to see a new feature on Substack where you can just pay Substack and get credits to distribute to everyone you want to follow, or buy à la carte articles. Finally, I've just re-read Umberto Eco's essay "Ur-Fascism," which reminds us that resistance doesn't happen on its own, and no one is coming to save us from the neo-Fascists. I worried a lot more about that a year ago, but seeing how Minnesota has responded to the intrusion of the armed, unaccountable secret police the Republican Party created, I'm worrying less now.
