If you'd told me two years ago that I'd ever attend a White Sox post-season game, I'd have told you to pull the other one. And then last night I found myself here:

Unfortunately, the Sox did not prevail, forcing a 5th game tomorrow night in Cleveland. If the Sox win, I will very likely go to next Thursday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. If not, the Cleveland Guardians will attend that game instead.
Keep in mind, the White Sox lost an average 108 games the last three seasons, including 2024 when they had the most losses of the modern era. So winning 84 games this year and getting to any post-season action is an achievement in itself.
Let's hope they win tomorrow.
On the other hand, the last time a Chicago baseball team won the World Series, it coincided with the rise of the Orange Plague...
